HISTORY–
- After a Series of Particularly Harsh Winters In the Early 1700’s a New Grape Was Need to Be Grown On the Coastal Area That Makes Up Pays Nantais. The Winemakers Picked the Melon de Bourgogne Grape That Was Recently Banish From Burgundy Was Chosen For Its Resistant to Cold and Frost. Over Time the Named Changed to Muscadet.
